According to Ovarian Cancer Australia, ovarian cancer is a disease where some of the cells in one or both ovaries start to grown abnormally and develop into cancer. There are four main types: Epithelial ovarian cancer, borderline tumour, germ cell ovarian cancer and ex-cord stromal cell cancer.
